The Adair County Sheriff’s Office employs up to 9 Full-Time commissioned deputies and the Sheriff. We also employ multiple reserve and Part-Time commissioned deputies as well. A Deputy has multiple responsibilities including, but not limited to, responding to calls in the county, patrolling the county, serving court paperwork such as summons and subpoenas, and transporting convicted detainees to the Department of Corrections to begin their prison sentences just to name a few.

If you need to get into contact with a specific deputy, you may email them at Please keep in mind that the particular deputy you want to speak with may not be working on that particular day, so you should allow 1-3 days for a response. If you do send an email please include the following information: your name, the deputy you wish to speak with, the nature of your business, your return number or email, and an event/case number.
